Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons sugar
1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 ea. Texas Roadhouse Dinner Rolls

1. Mix vinegar, honey and sugar and vinegar in a glass bowl and set aside
2. Wash strawberries, hull them and slice them into 1/4" slices
3. Toss the sliced strawberries in the sugar mixture and mix gently to cover the slices with the mixture, let sit and stir occasionally. (about 1/2 hour)
4. Shave the top and bottom off of a TRH dinner roll and toast for 5-7 minutes in a toaster or small toaster oven until warmed through and a little crusty
5. Place toasted dinner roll in a bowl and spoon on desired amount of strawberries, drizzle with juice from bowl

Top with whipped cream, side of ice cream or crème anglais
