They say you can’t judge a book by its cover. That’s true for menus, too. Unlike a book, however, you can get a feel for how good a menu is by what’s on the first page. We’re talkin’ appetizers, or in the case of the Texas Roadhouse Menu — “Just for Starters.”
A quick glance and you’ll see Texas Roadhouse is more than a darn good steakhouse (as if that’s not enough), it’s also an all-American restaurant with wide selection of choices, and a whole lot of southwestern flare.
But hey, don’t take our word for it. See for yourself. The items listed below are taken straight from the Just for Starters section of the Texas Roadhouse menu. Fair warning though, you may start to get real hungry. But if you do, you know where to go.
Here’s what you’ll find on the Just for Starters menu:
Boneless Buffalo Wings
Hand-breaded all white meat chicken tossed in your choice of Mild or Hot sauce and served with celery and Bleu Cheese dressing.
Rounds of diced jalapeños and jack cheese, hand-battered and lightly fried. Served with our Cajun Horseradish sauce for dipping
Boneless Buffalo Wings along with Rattlesnake Bites and Tater Skins served with your choice of two dipping sauces
Heaping basket of pickle chips hand-battered, golden-fried, and served with Ranch or Cajun Horseradish sauce for dipping
Skewer of shrimp, seasoned to perfection and drizzled with our garlic lemon pepper butter.
Award-winning ribs served in a basket with steak fries.
Topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, and sour cream.
Texas Red Chili
Made-from-scratch recipe, topped with cheddar cheese and red onions.
Our signature hand-battered onion, golden-fried and served with our Cajun Horseradish sauce.
