At Texas Roadhouse, Luck Has Nothing to do with it

Sometimes in life you get lucky. You go to the movies and get a front row parking space. Or, you catch every green light on your way to work in the morning. Or, you discover the perfect family restaurant with the best ribs you’ve ever tasted. Now that’s lucky. (For you anyway.)

On the food preparation side, we know luck has nothing to do with it. Building a quality restaurant like Texas Roadhouse, the kind of restaurant that consistently delivers amazing food and great service, doesn’t just happen by chance. It takes hard work, dedication and a passion for doing things the right way, every time.

Take our ribs for example. They’re delicately seasoned and slow bathed in our signature BBQ sauce and slow cooked until the meat falls off the bone. Sure we could cut a few corners and serve up ribs almost as good for a lot less work. But around here, “almost as good” isn’t good enough.

That’s why we hand-cut every steak we serve daily. That’s why we bake our bread fresh every day, too. And why our sides and dressings are made-from-scratch.

Because the way we see it, when you take your family out to a restaurant, you deserve to have a great time and Legendary Food. And that’s way too important to leave up to chance.
