Why do I love my job? Well let me tell you. I walked through the doors of TXRH in December of 2002 and my life has not been the same since. The people, the atmosphere, the community outreach and the love that you feel here are all reasons why I love my job. Since working here I have been through a lot of family crises and throughout all of my situations TXRH has always been there for me not like a friend but like a family member. Not many people can wake up every morning and say that about their job. My son also works for TXRH and one day I asked him why he loved his job and his response was, “Everything about Texas Roadhouse is perfect for me”. Enough said!

I love my job at Texas Roadhouse! It is an awesome experience each and every day to work for a Company that “gets it”! They “get it” that it’s important to take care of your employees in every possible way and those employees will rise to the challenge and in turn give back to the Company on every possible occasion. They “get it” that it’s important to give back and support the communities in which we do business. The culture here is so welcoming; teamwork, friendships and work families just come naturally. I thought companies like this were virtually fictitious until I was blessed with the opportunity to work here.

Why Do I love My Job at Texas Roadhouse?
What’s not to love? As soon as I started at Texas Roadhouse, I blended into the team and company culture. I feel as if I have worked here for years. My coworkers and superiors have been so welcoming. They are very supportive and attentive to my needs. I have worked in environments where I have felt abandoned as soon as the hiring process was complete. Texas Roadhouse never made me feel this way. The door is always open for any concerns and suggestions that I may have.
I am so enthusiastic about coming to work every day because I know my thoughts and ideas will be considered with respect. The work environment is more relaxed than anything I have ever experienced. I think that this relaxed environment makes for part of the success of Texas Roadhouse – everyone is approachable and we all share the same objectives and goals.
Texas Roadhouse has exceeded my expectations. It is widely admired externally for its outstanding performance, but what is interesting about the company is that it is equally admired from the inside by its employees. I speak for the rest of my team in saying that we truly feel valued and know that we are contributing to something great. It takes many years to build a legend and I am fortunate to be a part of this process.

Eight years ago I was welcomed into my second family – the TXRH family in Mesa, Arizona. After working for several chain restaurant groups, I realized that I had finally found the place where I could be developed, demonstrate my talents, and genuinely enjoy the work environment. My first year as a server taught me that our guests loved our legendary food, which made for easy salesmanship, great money, & my desire for more responsibility! My next four years as a Service Manager & Local Store Marketer, helped me to recognize just how important it is to believe in your staff, to treat your guests as if they were guests in your home, and that our restaurants wouldn’t survive without local community partnerships. The final year in operations as a Kitchen Manager solidified my passion for our food, our systems, & and our incredible attention to fresh product.
