Our Secret to the Perfect Margarita

When the summer sun comes, so does the heat. And as the temperatures rise, your next party may need a cool down. Look no further for the perfect icy cocktail. It’s the legendary Texas Roadhouse Margarita.

Since you can’t take our legendary steakhouse Margarita to go, we figured we could celebrate the start of summer by sharing three easy tips to make your own Margarita, Texas Roadhouse style.

Our first secret? Only use the best ingredients. At Texas Roadhouse, we make our signature margaritas with three high-quality tequilas, a house-made sour mix, fresh orange juice and sweet agave nectar. Say goodbye to that pre-made mix, and take the time to do a little hand-crafting.

Secret number two? Make sure you give your guests options. Frozen or on-the-rocks is a big difference for our casual dining patrons, and your guest will likely follow suit.  To make the work easier for you, set up a blending station at the party, and let your guests get in on the fun, too!

The last secret? Please every pallet at your summer cookout and add some fruit to the mix. While we love the original margarita recipe, we love a good strawberry, peach, or raspberry margarita, too! Throw a few berries or pieces of fruit into the blender with your margarita mix to make a custom concoction!

So, when you’re planning your next party, be sure to use these three secrets to make it a little more special. And next time you’re at Texas Roadhouse, be sure to order one of our legendary margaritas. You’re taste buds will thank you.
